The safety regions reported that calls surged as the storm impacted the area. Shortly after 11:00 PM, the safety region of Flevoland issued a NL-Alert, urging residents to stay indoors.
The alert emphasized the seriousness of the situation as crews responded to numerous incidents. Authorities advised people to remain inside and avoid unnecessary travel until the storm passes.
